Hello! 👋 Throughout my career, I have developed myself in various fields such as Java, Spring, microservice architecture, container technologies, and desktop software development. Now, I have launched my new website to share my knowledge and experience, showcase my projects, and contribute to the software world!


Who am I and What Do I Do?


I am a graduate of Hacettepe University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (100% English). 💼 I have worked as a software engineer in the defense industry and public sector. 🛠 I have developed various desktop and web applications using Java EE, Java Swing, WPF, and Spring. 🌍 I am working on microservice architecture and container technologies.

About Me


Hello! I am Yavuz Duran. My interest in technology started in my childhood when I spent time with electronic circuits and computers. Since then, I have focused on understanding how systems work, developing my own projects, and continuously improving myself in the software world.


What Does Software Mean to Me?


For me, software is not just about writing code; it is about solving problems, optimizing processes, and creating solutions for the future. Finding the most effective way to solve a problem and implementing it in a performant, scalable, and sustainable way is my passion. I always strive to apply the best design patterns and performance practices when writing code. Additionally, teamwork and knowledge sharing are very important to me because I believe that knowledge grows when shared.

Sports Analysis Application

An application developed to collect, analyze, and report athletes' training data. The application allows athletes to track their performance, plan their training, and monitor their progress.

An IO module application developed for use in industrial automation systems. The application collects real-time data and performs control operations by communicating with sensors and actuators via Bluetooth.

SGRS (Coast Guard Radar System)

A software developed for radar systems in Coast Surveillance Stations. The application processes radar data to detect ships, determine their locations, and visually present them to the operator.

Fırtına Howitzer

A software developed for the fire control systems of the Fırtına howitzer. The application calculates firing parameters, visualizes shooting data, and performs fire control.

BTK Portal Website and Various Applications

A website developed for the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK). The site provides users with information about BTK's activities, projects, and announcements. Additionally, users can access services such as the meal menu, balance top-up, and various reservations through the portal. Since it was developed using a microservices architecture, different technologies are used in each module.

CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) System

A system developed to register and track mobile devices. This system allows IMEI numbers of devices to be recorded and monitored. Additionally, various reports and analyses are provided to regularly track the status of the devices. Numerous integrations have been implemented within the project.
